Well...

I spent most of the day in bed, yes I am still not feeling too well. I went to the doctor this morning and he gave me an antibiotic and told me the classic line of "drink plenty of liquids and get plenty of rest." Please, tell me something new for 80 dollars!

So I grabbed a novel, put on a large kettle and curled up in my bed until 1 and then I put on some soup, had a slice of toast and went back to bed. Betty came by an hour ago to check on me, and she brought some homemade pot pie, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Friends are those who are there for you, and if they really love you, they'll bring you homemade goodies like pot pie!
